Requirements
- Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
- Veterinary Technician license welcomed but not required
- Strong patient care and animal handling skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain patients during appointments and treatments
- Support patient care, treatments, and nursing responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostics, laboratory testing, and sample collection
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate clients and communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately
- Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional patient care and client service
