About The Position

Auburn Animal Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician with several years of hands-on clinical experience to join our one-doctor practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys being involved in every stage of patient care—from diagnostics and treatment through surgery and recovery. Our close-knit team is committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality medicine while creating a supportive and professional experience for every client and patient. Licensed and certified candidates will receive priority consideration, but experienced non-credentialed Veterinary Technicians are also encouraged to apply. Work-life balance isn't just something we talk about. Our Tuesday–Friday schedule gives you a consistent three-day weekend, while the absence of night and weekend shifts leaves more time for family, hobbies, rest, and everything else that matters outside the hospital. You'll also enjoy the professional satisfaction that comes from being actively involved in a patient's care from the first examination through diagnostics, treatment, surgery, and recovery. In our smaller practice environment, your technical knowledge and experience will make a visible difference every day. You'll work alongside a team that values compassion, professionalism, open communication, and the unique strengths each person brings to the hospital.
