About The Position
Animal Care Center of Blue Ash is seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician to join their busy small animal practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced team. The hospital combines compassionate care with modern veterinary medicine, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, laser surgery, and therapeutic laser technology.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary technician role
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and patient nursing care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Availability to participate in a rotating Saturday schedule
Nice To Haves
- Experience assisting with surgery and dentistry preferred
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Safely restrain patients and assist with handling procedures
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Obtain diagnostic images and assist with radiology procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia
- Assist with surgical and dental procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and client communications
- Ensure proper charge capture and documentation
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Foster a collaborative and positive team atmosphere
