Requirements

1–2 years of veterinary hospital experience required
Comfortable handling dogs and cats safely and compassionately
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

Experience with veterinary practice management software
Anesthesia monitoring experience
Surgical, dental, or radiology experience
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Responsibilities

Assisting with exams, surgery, dentistry, and medical procedures
Safely handling and restraining patients
Collecting laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and other diagnostics
Administering medications and treatments as directed
Monitoring hospitalized and surgical patients, including anesthesia monitoring
Maintaining accurate medical records
Educating clients on treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and at-home care
Maintaining a clean, organized treatment area and properly sterilized equipment
Assisting with inventory management and ensuring medical supplies are well stocked
