About The Position
Crossroads Animal Care Center is a busy hybrid General Practice and Urgent Care hospital seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician. The role is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on delivering outstanding medicine to pets and their families. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on nursing care, values teamwork, and is confident in dentistry and anesthesia. Technicians are highly utilized and play an essential role in patient care, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education. Candidates comfortable managing dental workflow from start to finish will thrive. The hospital hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Scheduling flexibility is important.
Requirements
- Active LVT, RVT, or CVT credential required
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinical setting
- Strong anesthesia knowledge and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to independently perform dental cleanings and obtain diagnostic dental radiographs
- Skilled in venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, restraint, and laboratory procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift throughout the day
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with both clients and coworkers
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to continue learning

Responsibilities
- Managing anesthesia cases and monitoring surgical patients
- Performing COHATs, charting, and full-mouth dental imaging
- Assisting doctors with treatments, diagnostics, and urgent care cases
- Supporting patient intake, outpatient procedures, and hospitalized case management
- Educating clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring treatment areas remain organized and efficient
- Contributing to a supportive and team-focused hospital culture
