Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of two years of Veterinary Technician experience required
Experience with Avimark preferred
Strong technical and patient care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to participate in rotating Saturday shifts
Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
Safely restrain patients during examinations and medical procedures
Perform laboratory testing and assist with diagnostic imaging
Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care
Maintain accurate medical records using Avimark software
Keep treatment, exam, and surgical areas clean, organized, and well stocked
Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
