Responsibilities

  • Partner with veterinarians and fellow team members to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care.
  • Use veterinary technician training and credentials across a broad range of clinical responsibilities.
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide attentive nursing care and patient monitoring.
  • Support diagnostic, laboratory, surgical, and treatment procedures within training and scope.
  • Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information and medical records.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients.
  • Educate pet owners and help them understand recommendations and at-home care.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with teammates to support an efficient workflow and positive hospital culture.
  • Continue developing skills through hands-on experience and professional development.
