Requirements
- Minimum of two years of veterinary experience required
- Strong knowledge of preventive care and vaccines
- Experience with surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
- Knowledge of Fear Free techniques and low-stress handling practices
- Experience with dentistry, radiography, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement
- Excellent client communication and education skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, coworkers, and leadership
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Professionalism, compassion, patience, and emotional intelligence
- Desire to continue learning and sharing knowledge with others

Responsibilities
- Obtain complete patient histories and maintain accurate treatment records
- Assist with wellness care, vaccines, and preventive medicine protocols
- Administer and dispense medications as directed
- Perform pharmacology calculations accurately
- Assist with surgery preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and patient care
- Perform dental procedures and support dental treatments
- Assist with digital radiography and diagnostic procedures
- Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Utilize Fear Free handling techniques whenever possible
- Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventive care recommendations
- Support daily hospital operations while delivering exceptional patient care
