As we continue to grow and expand our impact in the community, we are seeking Veterinary Technicians in the following areas: Foster Care Department, Shelter Medical Department (Shelter Medicine), Veterinary Clinic – Outpatient (community and client care), Surgery Department. Requirements

• A genuine love for animals and compassion for people
• Experience in a veterinary practice or animal shelter preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Initiative and eagerness to learn
• Understanding of vaccine protocols
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• CVT graduate (AVMA-accredited program) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Radiographs (proper positioning)
• Clinical laboratory testing
• Medication administration & blood draws
• Humane animal restraint techniques
