Requirements

Two years of experience or a valid Veterinary Technician License
Ability to build rapport with clients and fellow team members
Client education and communication skills that convey our recommendations to clients in an easily understandable and professional manner
Maintaining a positive, supportive approach at all times
Responding to the pressure of a fast-paced environment with dignity and professionalism
The confidence to own tasks and responsibilities, and deliver positive outcomes

Responsibilities

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
