About The Position

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital at Wildwood is hiring a part-time Overnight Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to patients and exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate has animal-care, client-communication, and veterinary-procedure experience, as well as a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners. The position averages 12 hours per week and includes some weekend hours. Overnight shifts are 12 hours, from 8 PM to 8 AM. Pay is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, determined by the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital was founded in October 2000 with a mission to provide excellent care using up-to-date facilities and equipment. Requirements

At least 2 years of veterinary experience.
Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
Experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures is sought.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals.
Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and status updates.
Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with dispensing medications.
Keep examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
