About The Position
Kaukauna Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least one year of experience to join their team. Requirements
- Certified Veterinary Technician credentials or at least one year of professional Veterinary Assistant experience
- A genuine desire and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience dispensing and administering medications
- Confidence obtaining medical histories and maintaining accurate patient records
- Experience with sample collection and laboratory submissions
- Strong client education and communication skills
- Motivation, dependability, and excellent attention to detail
- A commitment to compassionate patient care and exceptional client service
- A desire to continue learning and developing professionally
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with veterinarians and teammates to provide exceptional patient care
- Dispense and administer medications as directed
- Obtain thorough patient medical histories
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Collect patient samples and prepare laboratory submissions
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Provide client education regarding patient care, treatments, medications, and veterinary recommendations
- Support efficient daily hospital operations through teamwork, organization, and attention to detail
