About The Position
Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our high performing Surgery team! This role involves working with a state-of-the-art equipment to perform advanced techniques, providing excellent care and treatment services. You will have exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload, employ the most advanced imaging and monitoring tools, and tap into the expertise of our board-certified specialists. The hospital is a 24-hour facility focusing on the critical needs of animals in the community, with board-certified specialists providing advanced care. The team prides itself on a welcoming environment where members feel safe to learn and seek guidance, with opportunities to mentor and guide newer technicians. There is dedicated learning and development time, and the expectation to train, coach, mentor, and teach after gaining knowledge.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant.
- Outstanding client service skills.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
- Understanding of clear, effective communication among clients and team members.
- Dedication to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
- Desire to utilize full skill set while learning new & advanced techniques.
- Weekend Availability is Required.
