About The Position
Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our Surgery and Emergency departments! This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a Vet Tech looking to expand advanced clinical skills, work with high-acuity cases, and grow within a Level 1 Emergency & Critical Care specialty animal hospital. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians and a collaborative team committed to advanced veterinary medicine.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- Strong patient monitoring, technical nursing, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital environment
- Team-focused mindset with a commitment to patient care and client service
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
Nice To Haves
- CVT, RVT, or LVT a bonus!
- Emergency, surgery, or specialty experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for emergency and surgery patients
- Monitor sedation, pain management, and post-operative recovery
- Support DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, procedures, and patient care plans
- Triage and monitor high-acuity emergency patients
- Communicate clearly with doctors, teammates, and clients
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols
- Work collaboratively across ER, surgery, and specialty teams
