About The Position
Animal Medical Center West is hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician. This is a full-time position with a negotiable salary based on experience. The schedule is 4 days a week, 10-hour days, with no nights, holidays, or weekends. Requirements
- Experience as a veterinary technician with strong technical skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with initiative and adaptability
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfort with technology (EzyVet, Google Drive, email preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory testing
- Take high-quality radiographs and support diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Educate clients on patient care, medications, and preventative health
- Support daily operations, including records, billing, and workflow coordination
