About The Position

Nease Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality medical care and creating positive experiences for both patients and clients. The hospital offers a wide range of services including preventive & wellness care, holistic services such as acupuncture, nutritional counseling, dentistry and soft tissue surgeries, and behavioral management appointments. They believe in work-life balance, operating Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekends off.

  • Proficient in diagnostic radiography
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Eager to learn, grow, and expand clinical knowledge
  • Embraces constructive feedback and continuously strives to improve patient care and hospital efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Dental radiography experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Providing compassionate patient care and low-stress handling techniques
  • Triaging incoming patients and assisting with medical assessments
  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
  • Performing diagnostic imaging, including radiography
  • Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients with varying levels of medical needs
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Educating clients and communicating treatment plans with professionalism and empathy
  • Assisting with surgical procedures, patient preparation, and recovery
  • Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team to provide outstanding veterinary care
