VCA Woodford Animal Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our Patient Care Team!
Schedule: Full-time opportunity with rotating Saturdays.
Compensation: $19 - 23/hr, and the starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams.
• IVC placement and venipuncture
• Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
• Dentals and dental radiographs
• Maintain patient records
• Client education and communication
• Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
