About The Position

San Antonio Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced, full-time Veterinary Technician to join its established, close-knit team. The hospital is a full-service veterinary practice serving San Antonio, Florida, and surrounding communities for more than 25 years. The role involves using technical skills to support quality, compassionate veterinary care in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience with safe and effective animal handling and restraint.
• Experience performing phlebotomy in cats and dogs.
• Experience with in-house diagnostics, including reading fecal samples and performing ear and skin cytology.
• Experience supporting veterinarians during appointments and procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with surgery and anesthesia.
• Credentialed as a CVT, RVT, or LVT, or eligible for licensure based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively handle and restrain animals.
