Requirements

  • Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential preferred
  • Candidates eligible to sit for the VTNE within one year of hire are encouraged to apply
  • Strong surgical and anesthesia experience
  • Excellent communication and client education skills

Responsibilities

  • Utilize and expand surgical nursing and anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Support dental procedures and patient care throughout treatment
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines as directed
  • Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Communicate with clients confidently, compassionately, and professionally
  • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
  • Collaborate with teammates to provide exceptional patient care and client service
