About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and ability to help train and develop technicians and assistants at our Downtown hospital. This role involves serving as a mentor, coaching team members, organizing meetings and training schedules, identifying and resolving workplace conflicts, and providing feedback to leadership for performance improvement plans. The position offers advanced medicine, ongoing professional development, and growth pathways, working alongside specialists and emergency teams with access to leading-edge resources in a collaborative culture.

Requirements

Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff.
Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
Other related duties as assigned.
