About The Position

VCA Lilburn Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join their leadership team. This full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for team development, with excellent communication abilities. The Supervisor will mentor the technician team, foster a positive culture, and contribute fresh ideas to hospital operations. This position offers an opportunity to grow leadership skills while impacting the team and patients. The role supports daily hospital operations, provides mentorship, and helps create a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to transfer licensure

• Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support and implement hospital policies and procedures
• Schedule staff and lead team meetings
• Accurately handle and maintain controlled drug logs
• Interview, train, and mentor new and existing associates
• Provide coaching and performance feedback
• Perform Veterinary Technician responsibilities
