About The Position
VCA County West Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor. This role requires strong medical experience and effective leadership skills, with an emphasis on clear and consistent communication. Working alongside the Medical Director and Hospital Manager, the Technician Supervisor will provide mentorship, ensure efficient hospital operations, and cultivate a high-performing environment. Responsibilities
- Implementing department policies and procedures.
- Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
- Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
- Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.
- Delivering employee performance feedback.
- Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.
