About The Position

Animal Hospital of Regency Park in New Port Richey is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead their talented team. This AAHA-accredited hospital practices progressive small animal care with a strong focus on teamwork, transparency, and continued learning. Technicians are highly valued and work with advanced diagnostics and equipment. The hospital boasts a strong 1:1 DVM-to-support staff ratio, empowering the team to practice at the top of their skillset while delivering exceptional patient care. They are seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician Supervisor passionate about leadership, mentorship, and fostering a positive team culture while maintaining the highest standards of medicine. Requirements

  • 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred, or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements
  • Ability to confidently support and guide technicians while working alongside veterinarians
  • Experience with surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and patient care
  • Familiarity with common in-house laboratory equipment and diagnostic testing
  • Strong animal handling and restraint skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to assist with scheduling, training, workflow management, and team development
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule; rotating Saturdays are required

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred
