About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brooklyn, NY is growing its team and seeking a passionate, experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead, mentor, and develop talented veterinary professionals within its Overnight Emergency department. The role involves serving as a mentor and clinical resource, coaching team members, coordinating training, and supporting a positive clinical environment. The pay range is $32.00 - $51.00 per hour, with competitive shift differentials for overnight and weekend work. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Requirements

Must possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for non-DVM team members by modeling strong work habits, demonstrating effective clinical skills, and applying sound business judgment.
Coach team members to proactively anticipate and address patient and client needs while recognizing when to seek support for complex or stressful situations.
Partner with hospital leadership to plan and facilitate Technician and Veterinary Assistant team meetings.
Coordinate training schedules and development opportunities for Patient Care team members.
Identify workplace concerns or conflicts and partner with leadership to support timely and effective resolution.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, collaborating with leadership to develop and implement performance improvement plans when needed.
Support a positive, collaborative, and high-performing clinical environment through effective communication, teamwork, and accountability.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
