About The Position

VCA County West Animal Hospital is looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor. We’re looking for a leader who brings both strong medical experience and effective leadership skills to the table. Clear and consistent communication is essential in this role, and we’re excited to welcome someone who is passionate about mentoring others, driving positive culture, and bringing fresh ideas to help move our hospital forward. You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills and have a clear career path. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to: Implementing department policies and procedures. Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings. Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs. Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff. Delivering employee performance feedback. Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff. Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays. Compensation: Pay range is $23 - 26/hr and negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
