About The Position
MSPCA-Angell West in Waltham is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor. Advanced technical, clinical and leadership skills are required for this position in order to effectively provide leadership to the technician services as well as patient and client care. An important responsibility of our Veterinary Technician Supervisor is participating in the hiring, training, coaching and performance evaluation for our technical staff and volunteers. Other supervisory duties include; creating work schedules, preparation of payroll, and the processing of personnel records. At Angell our supervisors assist our clinicians with providing high quality nursing care to our patients as well as ensure a high quality of client care.
Requirements
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
- Strong supervisory ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
