About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department! This position offers competitive pay, including shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. The pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system. As a Veterinary Technician, you will triage and obtain patient history, identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR, place IVC's and advanced catheters, perform advanced radiographs, monitor and care for ventilator cases, and provide Level 2 & 3 inpatient care. You will work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients and have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and obtain patient history
