About The Position

Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group (VERG) – Brooklyn is seeking a qualified Overnight Veterinary Technician to join their expanding Inventory services team. Requirements

• Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
• Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably with ECC or emergency experience in a specialty setting.
• Detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills.
• Experience in intensive monitoring, emergency triage, ventilator support, post-op recovery of critical patients, and placing advanced lines (e.g., central venous catheters, arterial lines for invasive blood pressure, and CVPs).

Responsibilities

• Support complex and urgent cases in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, and Neurology.
• Stabilize critical patients.
• Perform advanced monitoring.
• Support intensive care treatment plans.
• Ensure seamless patient care.
• Collaborate with multiple services.
• Educate intern doctors and peers on ECC protocols and best practices.
