The Florida Veterinary Referral Center (FVRC) in Estero, FL is hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding ER team! FVRC is a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with great doctors, amazing staff, and great customer service. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician
- Preferably in emergency medicine
- Understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) are required
Nice To Haves
- LVT certification is prioritized
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency veterinary care
- Assist with diagnostic imaging
- Perform phlebotomy
- Administer anesthesia
