Requirements
- Previous veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience preferred
- Strong patient care and animal handling skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Desire to continue learning and growing within veterinary medicine
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain patients during appointments and treatments
- Obtain laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Support patient care, treatments, and nursing duties
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Assist with radiographs and in-house laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Educate clients and provide compassionate communication regarding patient care
- Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
