About The Position

Angell West, a satellite hospital of Angell Animal Medical Center and part of the MSPCA, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician or Assistant with a passion for veterinary surgery and anesthesia. This non-profit animal hospital offers a dynamic and fast-paced team environment with a focus on client service, patient care, and work-life balance. The role involves providing anesthesia services, contributing to the continuing education of staff, and working in a teaching environment for new graduates and credentialed technicians. Angell West is an AHAA Accredited Referral Practice.

Requirements

• Passion for veterinary surgery and anesthesia
• Strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Reliable, independent, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Willing to take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff
• Credentialed in the state of Massachusetts (for sign-on bonus)

• Experience or credentials beyond the basic requirements may be eligible for higher compensation.
