Requirements

  • Washington State Licensed Veterinary Technician (Required)
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced veterinary environment
  • Strong patient handling and technical skillsCompassionate communication with clients and coworkers
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset
  • A genuine passion for veterinary medicine and patient care

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain patient histories, vitals, and assist with patient assessments
  • Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
  • Assist with radiographs and in-house lab diagnostics
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures
  • Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient clinic workflow
