About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is seeking a detail-oriented & compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team! We're offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience + credentials. Schedule: Week day shifts, 4x10s + occasional on-call expectations Pay: $25.00 - $49.00 / hour This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Responsibilities

Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.).
Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia
Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
Clean and maintain equipment following procedure.
Discharge IM patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as insulin injection, SQ fluid, and feeding tube demonstrations.
Additional job duties as assigned.
