Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse
- CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred or educational equivalent
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, terminology, and disease processes
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- A calm, focused demeanor and a commitment to learning and growth
Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for non-critical and recovering patients
- Administer medications and treatments ( IV, IM, SQ, PO )
- Assist with inpatient diagnostics including bloodwork, imaging , and catheter care
- Prepare and manage patient recovery from anesthesia
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, clinicians, and support teams
- Maintain accurate records , follow treatment plans , and assist with patient discharge
- Demonstrate sound medical knowledge and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Apply Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques to keep patients safe and calm
