About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an ICU Veterinary Technician for our Philadelphia, PA Hospital! This role is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that will allow you to utilize the skills that you have worked so hard to gain. We will also give you the chance to expand and grow your skills, all while working alongside some of the most talented veterinary professionals. As an ICU Veterinary Technician, you will have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers. Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.

Requirements

Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
