About The Position
VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our General Practice team full time! We are looking for a committed team of professionals that has pioneered growth in the veterinary field and wants to advance their skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. All Animal Hospital has been providing skilled veterinary care in a warm, friendly atmosphere for family pets in Orange Park since 1980. Our full-service clinic offers: General pet wellness care, Veterinary surgery, Advanced diagnostics, Preventive medicine and client education. We are AAHA-accredited, demonstrating the highest level of veterinary medical care and client service. We are proud of our strong reputation and strive to exceed expectations every day. This role is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Technician—but we are also excited to support someone early in their career who is eager to grow and develop their technical skills in a hospital that offers broad learning opportunities. Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Technician

Responsibilities
- Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Laboratory sample collection and processing
- IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration
- Client education and counseling
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments
- Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients
