About The Position
VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital and Emergency is looking for Night Shift ER Triage/OP and ICU Technicians. This is a hybrid veterinary hospital in Scottsdale, AZ, that is AAHA-accredited and offers general practice and emergency services. The team is committed to delivering high-quality medicine and patient care while providing exceptional client service. Veterinary Technicians/Assistants gain hands-on experience and knowledge through the diverse cases that come through the door. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent client service and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a moderate volume, fast-paced environment. Applicants should be self-motivated, have great attention to detail, and thrive working independently as well as in a team. The position involves Night-Shift ER/Triage for 12-13-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 3+ yr
- ER/Urgent care setting experience: 2+ yr
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a moderate volume, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to thrive working independently as well as in a team
