PERC is a busy, growing 24-hour Emergency and Specialty hospital serving Palm Beach Gardens and the surrounding community. Our Emergency Service works closely with our specialty departments to provide seamless, advanced care for critically ill patients. Requirements
- Experienced in veterinary medicine (minimum 3 years required)
- Licensed (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred but not required
- Comfortable prioritizing and triaging emergency cases
- Calm under pressure with strong critical thinking skills
- Flexible and excited to cross-train throughout the hospital
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
- Passionate about learning and delivering exceptional patient care
- Able to read and communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Triaging emergency patients and assisting with critical assessments
- Performing venipuncture and placing IV catheters
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and administering treatments
- Running in-house laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Assisting with emergency procedures and surgery
- Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients
- Communicating with doctors and team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Providing compassionate support to clients during stressful situations
