Veterinary Technician - Emergency
About The Position
Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician for its emergency team in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The technician will triage and treat emergency patients, work with emergency veterinarians on treatment plans for acute and complex cases, communicate compassionately with pet parents, and keep the workspace prepared for rapid response. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts ranging from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with some weekend availability needed. Starting pay is $21 per hour. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $2,000 retention bonus. Requirements
- Emergency room or intensive care unit experience.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Strong clinical skills, including IV placement, venipuncture, lab processing, and anesthesia.
