Requirements

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing.
  • Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, patient handling, clinical support and dental imaging.
  • Excellent communication skills with team members and pet owners.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred.
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maxillofacial examination for detailed evaluation of the teeth, oral cavity, jaws, and surrounding structures
  • Prepare patients and dental equipment, ensuring safety, sterility and proper setup.
  • Monitor anesthesia and vital signs throughout dental and surgical procedures.
  • Assist with advanced periodontal procedures, endodontic therapy, prosthodontic procedures, periodontal surgery and oral surgery.
  • Educate clients about oral health care, post-procedure instructions, preventive strategies.
