Requirements
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing.
- Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, patient handling, clinical support and dental imaging.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and pet owners.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
Nice To Haves
- Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in maxillofacial examination for detailed evaluation of the teeth, oral cavity, jaws, and surrounding structures
- Prepare patients and dental equipment, ensuring safety, sterility and proper setup.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs throughout dental and surgical procedures.
- Assist with advanced periodontal procedures, endodontic therapy, prosthodontic procedures, periodontal surgery and oral surgery.
- Educate clients about oral health care, post-procedure instructions, preventive strategies.
