About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join their Critical Care team. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment. As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will have a passion for mentoring and training co-workers and will feel gratification in nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents.

Requirements

Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Nice To Haves

Experience in critical care veterinary medicine
Skills in placing advanced catheters
Experience monitoring ventilator cases
Mentoring and training abilities

Responsibilities

Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
