About The Position

Ethos Veterinary Health is hiring an experienced Critical Care Technician for its SAGE Dublin facility. The role supports veterinarians in providing critical care and comfort to patients and their owners. The team works in a fast-paced, collaborative training environment focused on high standards of care, professional growth, inclusiveness, and camaraderie. SAGE Dublin provides critical care alongside emergency, surgery, oncology, and internal medicine services, using current veterinary treatments and diagnostic and surgical equipment.

The listed schedule is overnight, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Compensation is $32–$42 per hour for registered veterinary technicians (RVTs) and $26–$38 per hour for veterinary assistants (VAs). A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and clients using tact, patience, and professional courtesy, while exercising confidentiality and discretion where appropriate.

Nice To Haves

• Active California state RVT license; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for critical cases and consistently evaluate patients.
• Calculate CRIs and provide advanced hospitalization care.
• Perform in-house laboratory work.
• Place IV catheters.
• Provide accurate and detailed patient rounds.
• Safely restrain fractious and frightened patients.
• Obtain TPRs and maintain medical records.
• Recognize when to alert a veterinarian.
• Advocate for patients and clients.
