Veterinary Technician - Cardiology
About The Position
Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group (VERG) – Brooklyn is seeking a qualified Cardiology Veterinary Technician to join their team. VERG Brooklyn is a leader in 24/7 advanced emergency and specialty veterinary care, dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art medicine across multiple departments in a diverse, team-oriented environment. They are looking for licensed veterinary technicians who thrive under pressure and want to make a real impact, supporting the board-certified Cardiologist, emergency clinicians, and specialists across all departments. In this role, technicians will be on the front lines of veterinary medicine, supporting complex and urgent cases, helping to stabilize critical patients, perform advanced monitoring, support intensive care treatment plans, and ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably with emergency or critical care experience in a specialty setting
- Skilled in small animal venipuncture and blood pressure monitoring
- Detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Support complex and urgent cases in working with multiple departments such as Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, and Neurology.
- Help stabilize critical patients.
- Perform advanced monitoring.
- Support intensive care treatment plans.
- Ensure seamless patient care.
