Veterinary Technician Assistant
About The Position
VCA South Shore in Weymouth is a 24-hour general practice, emergency, and specialty veterinary practice that also provides boarding. Veterinary Technician Assistants provide direct support to veterinary technicians and doctors, helping care for animals in the hospital. The role involves animal restraint and handling, multitasking, attention to detail, and other interactions with pets. The team provides hands-on training for people interested in gaining experience in veterinary medicine. Evening and night shifts are available, with some weekend hours and holidays required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Enthusiasm and energy are a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional dog experience is preferred.
- Experience handling small animals is relevant to the role.
