About The Position

Bedford Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a caring, dependable Veterinary Technician Assistant to support the veterinary team and help provide quality care to patients and clients. The role supports veterinarians and technicians with day-to-day hospital operations, including keeping the hospital clean, organized, and stocked. The assistant will learn clinic protocols and gradually take on more hands-on patient responsibilities, including animal handling and care.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of veterinary experience preferred.
Experience with animal handling, lab samples, or medical support.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hospital areas to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.
Restock exam rooms, treatment areas, and supplies.
Learn hospital protocols and assist with patient handling and care.
Safely restrain animals during exams or procedures after training.
Support the veterinary team during appointments and treatments.
Interact with clients and pets in a warm, professional manner.
