About The Position

Veterinary United is looking for an overnight Veterinary Support Team/Animal Care Companion to join their team. The company aims to change veterinary medicine through its focus on ecology, teamwork, positivity, and culture, while providing the best individual and complete care to its patients. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restriction.
• Must be comfortable working around potentially reactive animals.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS WHEN NEEDED

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Wash and sanitize food and water bowls.
• Launder bedding and towels used by the animals.
• Walk, exercise, and play with animals to provide physical activity and mental stimulation.
• Greeting and assisting clients dropping off or picking up their pets.
• Provide updates to pet owners on their animal’s condition and behavior during their stay.
