About The Position

United Veterinary Care is offering externships for veterinary students at over 100 hospital locations across more than 20 states. The externships are designed for clinical-year students at AVMA-accredited schools, typically in their 3rd or 4th year. Students will share their goals at the start of their rotation and be integrated into the team through case discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on patient care in GP, ER, and specialty settings. Gailor Animal Hospital, a full-service general practice hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, welcomes 3rd and 4th-year veterinary medical students.
