About The Position
Calera Animal Hospital, part of Heartland Veterinary Partners, offers a DVM Student Externship program designed to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship. The goal is to prepare students to be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically two weeks long, with flexible scheduling. Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed and can support preceptorship documentation.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
