Veterinary Student Externship
About The Position
Join a collaborative and encouraging environment for a hands-on learning experience as a veterinary student extern. Externships are available at small animal general practice locations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Champlin, Minnesota; and St. Paul, Minnesota. The organization’s mission is to empower veterinary professionals by building veterinary hospitals that inspire, uplift, and fulfill. Its hospitals aim to provide warm, welcoming, and functional environments centered on culture, community, and collaboration. Externs are encouraged to contribute to a positive workplace culture and community spirit, engage with the local veterinary community, and pursue individualized mentorship. Guidance may include surgery, new treatments, and the business side of medicine, with the goal of supporting long-term professional development.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive culture and community spirit within the local veterinary hospital.
- Actively contribute to the well-being of pets and people in the local community.
- Participate in an individualized mentorship program focused on developing veterinary medicine skills and knowledge.
