Veterinary Sales Representative
About The Position
As a Sales Representative at MiDOG Animal Diagnostics, you will be an essential part of our team, working directly with the MiDOG Director to support the growth and success of MiDOG’s All-in-One Test diagnostic tool. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for veterinary medicine, who is eager to develop their sales career and make a meaningful impact on animal healthcare. You will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, maintaining relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in the veterinary diagnostics sector. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Veterinary Science) or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the veterinary or medical diagnostics industry.
- Familiarity with veterinary medicine or diagnostics is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the veterinary diagnostics market.
- Manage and follow up on marketing leads and customer inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and other key accounts.
- Collaborate with the product and services teams to gain a thorough understanding of MiDOG’s offerings.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and trial kits to prospective customers.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to present MiDOG’s diagnostic solutions.
- Support the sales process by coordinating with different departments, including marketing and customer support.
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to network, learn, and promote MiDOG’s products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system (NetSuite).
- Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
